Borrowed from FODMAP. This is the simplest dip and delicious with just the simple bread toasted or a bit of smoked salmon. Try on a bagel (if you can have that) instead of cream cheese.
1 clove of garlic finely chopped
85 g feta cheese
125 lactose free Greek style youghurt or if you want more creamy use cream cheese- preferably lactose free
Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp grated Parmesan cheese
Add all ingredients to the blender. Pulse until well combined.
Place in fridge until serving. Use as ‘sauce’ with spinach and chicken salad or dipping sauce for oven baked potatoes
You can vary the spice in this one. Oregano was in the original recipe.
In the summer season, i will sometimes add a bunch of green chopped herbs like mixed mint and coriander or parsley and coriander. Or add chives, or dill. Look, what works with your salad and -what you like.
