Step 4
Once dough is ready you can add additional oats if it feels to wet. Then form 10 buns and place on baking sheet. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
Step 5
Bake for 23 minutes. Serve warm or cold, Freezes very well, so ideal for lunch portions or on-the-go needs.
Tips
These are so lovely and useful. If you do not have to go gluten free, use conventional oats and you can make them with additional oat bran and even make in muffin forms. this trick will make them higher, but i found mine despite additional oil were just sticking to the muffin-liners or forms, so easier without. You can add additional nuts or sesame seeds, but the point is they freeze very well, so on days i am at events, i can bring a bag of 2 and my carrots and voila i have bread for my soup or my meal.
