Summer is signaling the lovely long days and open windows- and it signals the arrival of flies and mosquitos. I have found that getting enough bitter-tasting foods is helping. I had started looking into bitters as I was craving grapefruit but had problems with the fruit sugar. And I could not get enough. Now I am drinking wild nettle tea with a teaspoon of dried centaury leaves (https://www.indigo-herbs.co.uk/natural-health-guide/benefits/centaury). Just 3 mugs a day have a benefit for my liver. As I have discovered it also means the mosquitos have to be very hungry to ‘bite’ me. Try it- a tip though- do not drink centaury tea on its own. Mixed with 2 tbsp of nettle and left to stand for 5 minutes. It works for me and might work for you as well.
