Simple baked salmon

you can go nuts with the spices, but if you have a really good fish monger, keep the salmon as star of this show.

Method

    Prepare your fish and place in an oven baking tray. Use baking paper it cuts down on the cleaning afterwards

    Heat your oven to 200 degrees

  3. 3

    Sprinkle the salmon with salt and pepper. Add the lemon s;lices to each piece, then top with dill and bake in your oven for 12-15 min.

    Remove from the oven and serve directly.

Good to know

You really need to watch the baking. Too much and it is dry, too little and it is raw. I normally cut my salmon into slices of about 10 cm each. Place them close together , but it will cut down the baking time a bit- and will help you to lift a piece and see if baked through much more easily. Us ethe erst of the cold salmon for the salmon mousse afterwards.
