I call this my basis chicken recipe and it's really on repeat every week. Served over a bit of rice cooked in the chicken broth, over a salad or in one of my quiche. This chicken is ready for anything.
Prepare your chicken and add it to a plastic bag with spices and tamari sauce. Shake well and then add your flour and shake again until just a bit coated.
Heat a pot over high and brown the chicken- 3 -4 minutes.
Sprinkle the boillon or add the bouillon cube, then the water. Mix well and leave to cook on medium heat for about 10-12 minutes.
Remove the chicken pieces and serve- or keep them to the side and cook your rice in the broth and serve.
It keeps for 3-4 days in the fridge if you have enough for that. You can add other spices siuch as oregano, italian, french mix. Whatever. The more you add however the more every dish will taste the same, when you use it. So I tend to leave simple and add the spices to my salad dressing, the rice or wheatever I use this chicken for.
The library is growing every week — new recipes, swaps and stories.
